Fur Culture

Is vintage fur acceptable?

Or does the stigma against fur still exist in today’s culture?Image

“Fur remains as popular as a cold sore among the general public. We know that if people could take a look at how millions of animals every year are bludgeoned and electrocuted to make fur, they’d never wear it. Heartless designers like Michael Kors and Donatella Versace—who continue to use abused animals in their so-called designs—are a dying breed. Because of the inherent cruelty in the fur trade, top designers like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Stella McCartney and retailers like J.Crew and Forever 21 now refuse to use or sell any fur products.” – PETA

What does everyone else think?

Is fur now becoming culturally accepted?

Over 300 collections on designers AW14 collections were draped with fur this year.
